XWIS supports BusinessObjects XI and above. However, if you want to use XWIS Publish, you'll need to use BusinessObjects XI Release 3 or above. For dashboard creation, XWIS supports Xcelsius 2008 SP1 and above and SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.0 and above.

Yes. The XWIS Enterprise platform consists of a sophisticated back-end server, which efficiently manages data access, and a set of smart, front-end components that reduce dashboard complexity and increase accessibility. The minimum specification for an XWIS server is: 1 x 2.5 GHz CPU, 2Gb dedicated memory per CPU, and at least 1Gb of free disk space.
